UFC 275 | Main Card Preview
Saturday, June 11th (10:00 PM EST Main Card, 8:00 PM EST Prelims, 6:30 PM EST Early Prelims)
Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka
WATCH - #2 Jiri Prochazka’s fighting style is like a villain from an action movie. Chaotic movement, relentless aggression, and immense violence. He’s on a ten fight KO/TKO victory streak, was the reigning RIZIN light heavyweight champion when he came over to the UFC, and has a TKO victory over the current Bellator light heavyweight champion. It might seem premature to give him the UFC title shot after only 2 UFC fights, but those that believe that haven’t seen the highlights of the vicious things he did in the octagon to former title contenders #9 Volkan Oezdemir and #7 Dominick Reyes. This is the most entertaining and violent fighter in the UFC, and to get to watch him fight for a title at the peak of his hype against a beloved, hardy, and veteran champion like Glover Teixeira who is on a 3 fight finish-streak against #6, #5, and #3 makes this title fight a truly rare and special event!
Valentina Shevchenko vs. Taila Santos
WATCH - This fight isn’t about #4 Taila Santos. Don’t even bother looking anything up about her. This is about the perfect champion, Valentina Shevchenko. Cause it’s not just about winning. A win is expected and does nothing for Valentina. This fight is all about whether Valentina can win in a dominant enough fashion that the hype continues to build for her to return to the bantamweight division and attempt to become the second champ champ in UFC women’s MMA history!

Zhang Weili vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk
WATCH - It’s the rematch of the greatest fight in women’s MMA history! But this time they’re both coming off losses instead of wins… and it’s not for a title… and rematches are almost never as exciting as the fight they are trying to relive… and the division as a whole feels less hype after what happened with Thug Rose vs Carla Esparza…
Rogerio Bontorin vs. Manel Kape
WATCH - There’s nothing quite like former RIZIN champions in the UFC, and #14 flyweight Manel Kape has finally started to live up to the “tiny man Jiri” hype in his last 2 fights after being surprisingly inactive in his first 2 UFC fights. #8 Bontorin is a solid test that Kape should be able to overcome if he is truly the future title contender everyone makes him out to be. But Kape will no longer be able to rely on getting the edge from his special horse meat diet after USADA popped him for PEDs earlier this year.
FGTDalgo Bet - Fight Goes The Distance 1u @ +140 (better than -159.7)
Jack Della Maddalena vs. Ramazan Emeev
BATHROOM BREAK - Yes, Jack Della Maddalena looked really good in his UFC debut. But to put him against a journeyman in his second fight and consider that a quality enough fight for a PPV main card is egregious. He better whip out a 720 tornado kick for the finish, explode his opponent’s head like it’s mortal kombat, and then strip naked and scream out conspiracy theories during his post-fight interview for this to even be remotely as entertaining as it would need to be for a fight this lacking in prestige to be placed in such a high spot.
