UFC Vegas 46 | Prelim Preview
Saturday, January 15th (7:00 PM EST Main Card, 4:00 PM EST Prelims)
Jamie Pickett vs. Joseph Holmes
WATCH - Jamie Pickett has fought some tough competition in his career so far and has been able to scrape enough wins together to keep himself slowly moving up. But he's reaching a breaking point in which this fight will ultimately define whether he will be able to remain in the UFC for years to come. It will take a flashy finish to really shine a massively positive light on Pickett because the spotlight for this fight is all on the debuting Joseph Holmes, who has been smashing everyone in his road to the UFC and is still only 26 years old.
Court McGee vs. Ramiz Brahimaj
WATCH - Court McGee has one of the worst records ever for a tenured UFC fighter, and regardless of the fact that he won his last fight still remains a completely uninteresting washed-up fighter (although "washed-up" is misleading because it suggests that he was ever good). If Ramiz can't cut through him like butter than he might as well be fired off in a cannon into Bellator's HQ immediately after the fight.
TJ Brown vs. Charles Rosa
BATHROOM BREAK - The only thing notable about this meaningless journeyman matchup is how terrible their nicknames are. "Downtown" and "Boston Strong" sound like auto-generated nicknames in an E-rated sports game.
Brian Kelleher vs. Kevin Croom
BATHROOM BREAK - 34 and 35 are just a bit too old to convince yourself that they have any path forward at all to the rankings with a win here. A meaningless fight in the deepest UFC division which simply does not need these two fighters to be there.
