UFC Vegas 57 | Main Card Preview
Saturday, June 25th (10:00 PM EST Main Card, 7:00 PM EST Prelims)
Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mateusz Gamrot
WATCH - It’s been a couple years now since #11 lightweight Tsarukyan lost his UFC debut in a fight of the night against Islam Makachev. Since then, Tsarukyan has won 5 fights in a row, with the last 2 being performance bonus-winning finishes. In similar fashion, #12 Gamrot has decimated all 3 of his latest opponents since losing his debut in the hands of the judges. These are the prospects of yesterday finally arriving at the base of the mountain top and ready to make their summit to the peak. Two fighters who seem to make massive strides of improvement in each fight and are willing to put it all on the line against a fellow prospect, all for a chance at making a real push further up the rankings. This is the brutal dog eat dog matchmaking that showcases MMA at its very best.

Neil Magny vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov
WATCH - #10 Magny is a long running UFC veteran, and has appeared to settle in comfortably to a role as a top 10 welterweight gatekepeer. But this is no normal up and comer for Magny to hold at bay. The young undefeated #15 Rakhmonov is coming for this division like a storm. 3 fights in the UFC. 3 finishes. Each more dominating, epic, and violent than the one before. It can feel at times like fighters as hyped as #3 Khamzat Chimaev are irreplaceable. But Rakhmonov in the same division is also undefeated, has a 100% finish rate both in and out of the UFC, and is ready and waiting to redirect the Chimaev hype train to him whenever needed.
Josh Parisian vs. Alan Baudot
BATHROOM BREAK - The world’s worst unranked heavyweight fight smack dab right in the middle of an otherwise incredible fight night main card. Would you really want it any other way?
Thiago Moises vs. Christos Giagos
BATHROOM BREAK - These guys are right on the cusp of the lightweight rankings but not quite good enough to stay in that fold. Not the most exciting fighting styles and both tend to struggle at finishing fights. Another loss for either here could mean a death spiral as they hurdle towards the end of their UFC careers.
FGTDalgo Bet - Fight Goes The Distance 1u @ -110 (better than -123.4)
Nate Maness vs. Umar Nurmagomedov
WATCH - Oh so you think you are a big deal winning your first 3 UFC fights, and 2 of them by finish? Well how about facing the undefeated cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov? Still think you are the best unranked bantamweight now?
Chris Curtis vs. Rodolfo Vieira
WATCH - On the surface this is just another unranked middleweight matchup. But the clash of styles in this one is truly epic. On the one hand, you have Vieira, who isn’t just a BJJ specialist, but a 4 time BJJ World Champion, 7 time BJJ World Cup Champion. Neither of us have any idea what those titles but I’m willing to guess it probably means he was probably the very best at BJJ in the world at one point (or at least for his weight division). On the other hand, you have Chris Curtis who in his 2 UFC fights so far has looked like a middleweight Ngannou absolutely clobbering his opponents till they are out cold. Take a nice relaxing trip back to UFC 1 as we find ourselves on the edge of our seats wondering which pure discipline can triumph once again!
