UFC Vegas 59 | Prelim Preview
Saturday, August 6th (10:00 PM EST Main Card, 7:00 PM EST Prelims)
Sam Alvey vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk
BATHROOM BREAK - Incredible in his wins, and invisible in his losses, Oleksiejczuk looks great against fellow unranked journeymen, and terrible against anyone who is/was capable of having a ranking next to their name in the light heavyweight division. Luckily for him, he is getting the easiest fight in the entire UFC in Sam Alvey. Calling Alvey a journeyman is giving him too much credit, he's failed to secure a victory in his last 8 fights and is clearly only in the UFC because of some connection he has with Dana White.
Terrance McKinney vs. Erick Gonzalez
WATCH - HE'S BACK! The future king of the lightweight division, Terrance McKinney, lost some momentum when his winning every fight in the 1st round streak ended on short notice against Drew Dober. But the UFC is doing him a solid here with this easy rebound fight.
Bryan Battle vs. Takashi Sato
WATCH - Bryan Battle follows the path of many TUF stars by dropping down a division once they have a solid place in the UFC and want to make a run at the rankings. Takashi Soto is a great test for him, an exciting welterweight veteran who is so action-packed he was even able to give Belal Muhammad a finish victory.
FGTDalgo Bet - Fight Does Not Go The Distance 1u @ -110 (better than -135.3)
Jason Witt vs. Josh Quinlan
WATCH - Another classically perfect match made by the UFC. The old but never boring welterweight journeyman, Jason Witt, takes on the undefeated debuting Josh Quinlan who had to wait an entire year to make his UFC debut since he got popped for roids by the USADA after his DWCS victory.
Cory McKenna vs. Miranda Granger
BATHROOM BREAK - Bad vs Awful.
Mayra Bueno Silva vs. Stephanie Egger
BATHROOM BREAK - Why aren't there any TUF losers on this card? Guess only the finalists make it to the UFC nowadays. Oh, how the mighty show has fallen.
MMAalgo Bet - Mayra Bueno Silva 3.5u @ +105 (better than -178.7)
