Nikita Krylov vs. Ryan Spann

WATCH - Both of these guys have been in the light heavyweight rankings for a while and are finally sporting a win-streak against ranked fighters for the first time in their careers. This is probably the ceiling for both of them so it’s an important fight in that it’s likely the only chance they’ll ever get of breaking into the top 5 and potentially earning a title eliminator match. #8 Spann is a quick finish or gas fighter (commonly referred to as 7-minute men) so #6 Krylov will need to stay patient or focus hard on his grappling.

Andre Muniz vs. Brendan Allen

WATCH - This fight is the gold standard for the hardcores out there. They’re both common names to throw out for best prospects in the middleweight division, and their recent wins against tough opponents have proved that they are making the right strides to live up to the hype. It’s a bit unfortunate that #11 Muniz has to take a step back and fight an incredibly young & talented guy even though he’s still never lost a UFC fight. But this will be a banger that launches the winner into the kind of relevancy that transforms your career forever.

Augusto Sakai vs. Don'Tale Mayes

BATHROOM BREAK - Finally a legitimate rebound fight for Sakai, too bad he’ll find a way to get rag dolled and beaten up for the 5th fight in a row.

Tatiana Suarez vs. Montana De La Rosa

WATCH - 4 years later… the undefeated TUF winner returns to continue her incredible winning streak in the UFC. Or to get beat by a mediocre journeywoman and prove that you can’t just jump back in and be the same fighter after that much time off. Either way, it’s a comeback worth watching.

Mike Malott vs. Yohan Lainesse

BATHROOM BREAK - Knocking out Mickey Gall in your debut doesn’t make you a star, and facing a mediocre guy like Lainesse isn’t worthy of a main card slot. If this is genuinely the 5th best fight on this card then might as well skip the prelims.
